Quick and easy wholewheat bread
This bread is easy to make - a tasty and nutritious staple.
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 3 cups nutty wheat flour
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp cream of tartar
- 1 ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 4 tbsp honey
- 2 cups sour milk (Inkomazi)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180˚C.
- Mix all the ingredients together and stir.
- Pour mixture into a 23cm greased loaf pan.
- Bake for one hour at 180˚C.
- Remove from pan and cool on a cooling rack.
